Last Weeks Cool 3D Prints - 1

Awesome 3D Printing projects and where to find them. Epic creations from epic artists and makes. Let’s look at a few!

I do browse around a bit and occasionally I find really cool projects that involve 3D Printing and making. I really want to showcase these incredible people and why not do so here on my 3D blog? Hope you find some inspiration and want to continue making and 3D Printing.

Leather Goggles with 3d printed Molds

The first really cool project I found comes from “VasileandPavel” (u/Pavelcraftleather) via reddit that created an incredible set of leather googles using 3D Printed molds. There is a full video out there, but you have the post here below if you’re interested in watching it. I strongly recommend checking it out!

Olle sköld with some amazing Multimaterial print

Yes, that’s a 3D Print. The black looks just like caulking!

Olle Sköld is known for doing some incredible 3D Printing projects and it looks like he’s now doing another(?) boat and with it he has created a fantastic combo of wood-material (Lumberjake PLA) and regular black PLA, using a single extruder multimaterial system.

Olle notes that this wooden PLA worked great on the 0,4mm nozzle, but was even smoother using some oil!

Seeing the images below, teasing the CAD files I’m sure Olle has some EPIC projects coming! Make sure you pay him a visit here.

Cool topology 3D Print by “IndividualAtmosphere”

Link to project here

Reddit delivers amazing 3D Prints as usual! The user u/IndividualAtmosphere has made some huge, really beautiful topology 3D prints. This one looks stunning with it’s colors!

Below you can also see another epic Mount Blanc topology 3D Print that was also painted!

Nitram’s 5 minute 3D Benchy 3D Print

Martin Nitram is doing some insane modding, optimisation and work to get his Kossel Mini (linear) to print incredible times with a regular 0,4mm nozzle.
His list of mods can be found under the video, but we’re talking ABS at 300 degrees Celcius and some strong cooling to get the plastic to both melt and then harden again.

This is really cool! Make sure you check out the video below!

Terrifying RC Tank robot by “rancidFunctionality”

I saw this pretty insane 3D Printed RC tank robot and thought I have to share it! Not only is it beautiful, it’s also 3D Printed and moves like a spider.

Check out RandicFunctionality and his awesome project here.
