Now is the time to sell your 3D Printer
If you have more than one printer you might want to try to sell that old, budget Creality Ender 3 or Anycubic 3D Printer you have laying around. Before it’s too late and all value is gone.
3D Printing have had a very interesting last 12 months and you're now getting amazing 3D Printers for less than $700.
The beginners budget.
Although $700 may sound low to you, it's still too much for many beginners. And when they research purchases and hear everyone preaching Prusa mk4, Bambu lab P1P/P1S and Creality K1 (are people praising those yet?) they are going to want to come as close as possible.
Today, that means the Creality Ender 3 V3 SE, which is doing fast prints at less than $200.
One persons trash is another persons gold
3D Printing enthusiasts who have an extra Creality Ender 3 S1 or S1 pro that cost $350-460 new and want to try to sell those second hand, presumably to free up space or budget to get themselves another P1S or AMS from Bambu labs, might have trouble getting buyers.
There are few reasons to pick those instead of an new Ender 3 V3 SE. Specially at the same price (used).
Go before market catches up?
So naturally I'm assuming that the second hand market for Ender 3s...Anycubic, Elegoo, artillery (and others) is going to be quite flooded due to the low price of a newer (faster) alternative like Ender 3 V3 SE. I mean, who would want to buy my Ender 3 S1 Pro (that I bought for $390) for say $240...
Opportunities for the not-so-picky user
If we consider the perspective of a beginner (or other user) who, for some strange reason, don't want speed. There might be opportunities for a treat!
You should be able to low-ball and get a decent printer for around $100-140. Not bad!
Just remember how slow and "old" printer is compared to a new fancy one…
